Many people have questions about their Facebook ads and want to know what to do.
Introduction video, start here: http://youtu.be/YLjkixVRrdE
.) The first thing we recommend when creating Facebook ads is to be patient. You should keep your domain pointing to a neutral website from your prior training ie. (http://www.bloggingbasics101.com) until your ads are not just approved, but charging money. Julian has them charge him $1.00 before he switches the domain to his landing page. Sometimes, ads get approved automatically, but someone follows up behind that approval to check them out. This is your safest option if that happens.
.) The second recommendation is obtain a https://business.facebook.com account. This will take your fan page and place it under face books business section. This tells Facebook you are a serious marketer and you will get traction faster.
.) How much should you spend? Don’t go big at first. Stay at 5 dollars and stick with one interest for split testing reasons. You may want to test a few ads at once to see which one works better for you. Watch this video Matt put together for guidance on split testing. Remember it takes money to advertise, so use it wisely.

.) While your looking at your ads account, you are going to notice lots of data and metrics. When you are first starting, the only metric you should pay attention to is “website clicks.” This can be difficult to find, see screen shots below to help. This data tells you how many times a person has actually clicked on your website link and taken to your opt in page to sign up for the webinar. All that other data your looking at is great for advanced application, but in the end, it only matters to you how many people opt in for the webinar. If you would like to know how many registrants you have obtained with your ads, please contact the coach that is hosting your opt in page. They have this data (Julian, Nate, Matt etc)
.) With that being said, you need to calculate how much your paying per website click. In general, for simplicity, try and obtain ads that you spend no more than $0.50 per website click. You can obtain this number with a calculator. Take the amount of money spent and divide it by number of website clicks. ( Money / WC ). For example, $5 / 10 WC = $0.50. If your ad is higher than this metric, you are not being profitable in your new business. We recommend you delete unprofitable ads, and create new ones.
.) Once you have obtained an ad that is at a $0.50 per website click, you should slowly start to increase your budget. It is recommended that you increase it at a 15-20 % increment. Below is a great article on Facebook ads, and in order to prevent any issues with your ads, this is their recommendations.

.) If you receive negative comments on your video, we recommend that you “ban user” and delete the comment. This will stop that user from seeing your ads in the future.
.) If for some reason your ads turn “red” and it states “not approved” after you have been running your ads successfully. We recommend that you immediately delete this ad. There are many reasons this could have happened. Do not just attempt to boost your post again. You will need to take some action. First, you are going to need to edit your video. This can be done in any application you want such as iMovie or Microsoft Movie Maker etc. The reason for this is to make your video look unique to Facebook because one potential cause of being taken off line was the video was flagged by Facebook because multiple users are using the same movie. Many people just add a three to five second edit to the beginning or end of their video. The second step you are going to want to take is to potentially obtain a new domain name at www.godaddy.com. Your domain may have been flagged and you will not be able to get ads approved with it. Finally, once you have done this, create a new post and start to boost it. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT KEEP TRYING TO GET ADS APPROVED WITH THE SAME POST THAT WAS FLAGGED. YOU WILL GET THAT ACCOUNT BANNED!.
